Gypsum is a building Material used For Coating walls and ceilings. Gypsum is Manufactured as a dry powder and is mixed with water to form a paste when used. Gypsum powder can be used to impregnate gauze bandages to make a sculpting material called modroc.

Gypsum has many common uses in construction, including sheetrock, cement and as an ingredient of plaster. It is also used as a fertilizer and soil conditioner.
